Get Involved
Join us in restoring nature from the ground up—become a habitat steward, partner with our program, or support the work of building healthier, more resilient landscapes across Marin.
For Stewards (Pilot Program)
Become a Certified Steward
Enroll to receive a personalized, science-based evaluation and a clear, supportive path for transforming your yard into a native, wildlife-friendly, and fire-resilient habitat. After you sign up, you’ll be guided through onboarding, connected with an MBH mentor, and begin a customized assessment that leads to a stewardship plan and certification as part of a growing community caring for place together.
For Organizations
Become A Partner
Partnership with Marin Backyard Habitats means collaborating to bring science-based habitat restoration, community education, and stewardship training into neighborhoods through shared programs, site certifications, and co-hosted events. Partner organizations gain expanded impact, increased visibility, and a trusted pathway to engage their members in hands-on biodiversity, climate resilience, and equity-focused action.
For Donors
Support Our Mission
Donor support makes it possible to expand access to native habitat restoration, stewardship training, and community science across Marin, helping to restore biodiversity, reduce wildfire risk, and build a culture of care for the land.
